How much does piano tuning cost?
Upright piano tuning is $220 and grand piano tuning is $250. If your piano is significantly below standard pitch, pitch correction may be required at additional cost — your technician will always explain this before proceeding. You pay after the service is complete.
What if my piano hasn't been tuned for years?
It has most likely dropped below standard pitch. Your technician will measure it and, if needed, recommend a pitch correction before the fine tuning — always explaining any additional work and cost before proceeding.
When is pitch correction required?
When a piano is significantly below standard pitch or too unstable to fine-tune in one pass. Standard pitch correction is +$120, if required. More extensive correction may cost more — your technician will assess the piano and explain any additional work and charges before proceeding.
How long does a tuning appointment take?
Please allow about 2 hours. Pitch correction or additional work can take longer.
Do you tune upright and grand pianos?
Yes. We tune acoustic upright and grand pianos in homes, studios, schools and venues across Sydney.
How do I pay?
You pay after the service is complete, by cash or bank transfer. No payment is taken when you book online.
Do you service my suburb?
We service homes across Sydney. Travel within 25 km of our base is included; further locations may incur a travel fee, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge more than 24 hours before your appointment. Later changes may incur a $50 fee. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
Do you service digital pianos?
No. We specialise in acoustic pianos only, so we don't tune, repair or service digital pianos or electronic keyboards.
Do you move or remove pianos?
No. We don't provide piano moving or removal services — our focus is tuning and caring for your piano where it is.
