Important Booking Notes Please read before booking so we can complete your piano service smoothly. 🧹 Clear Workspace Please make sure the piano area is ready before arrival. Remove all items from the top of the piano Clear the area around the piano Make sure there is enough space to open and work on the instrument The room should be reasonably well-lit Please provide clear access to the piano before the appointment starts 🔇 Quiet Environment Piano tuning requires focused listening. Please avoid nearby: TV or music Loud conversations Video games Construction noise Other instruments Loud phone calls 👶 Children & Pets For safety and quality, children and pets must stay away from the piano, tools, and work area during the appointment. Please make sure: Children do not touch the piano while it is being serviced Pets are kept away from the workspace Piano parts and technician tools are not handled 🅿️ Parking & Access Please provide safe and legal parking close to the property where possible. Paid parking will be added to the invoice If parking is far away or access is difficult, an access fee may apply Please provide clear instructions for apartments, gates, lifts, or building entry 🎹 Pitch Raise / Pitch Correction If your piano is significantly below or above standard pitch, it may need a pitch raise/pitch correction before fine tuning. Standard pitch raise: $120 This is checked during the appointment This is common for pianos not tuned for a long time, recently moved, or noticeably flat 🚗 Travel Distance Standard pricing includes travel within 25 km of our base. Extra travel fees may apply: 25–35 km: +$40 35–45 km: +$70 45–60 km: +$110 60+ km: by quote only 🔧 Minimum Call-Out Fee Standalone visits, inspections, diagnosis visits, or minor repair-only appointments have a minimum fee of $150. This applies even if the issue is small, quick, or the piano only needs to be checked. 💳 Payment Payment is due on completion of the service.
