📋 Booking Policy – Please Read Before Confirming Thank you for choosing Perfect Piano! We’re committed to providing you with the highest-quality service. Please take a moment to review our booking policy. By confirming your appointment, you agree to the terms below. 🎹 Workspace Policy To ensure your piano is serviced safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, please note: ◾️Clear access: The piano must be easily accessible and free of objects, furniture, or items on top. ◾️Quiet environment: Tuning requires minimal background noise (no loud conversations, music, or construction). ◾️Worksite control: For safety, liability, and the integrity of your instrument, our technician requires a clear and uninterrupted workspace during the appointment. Clients and household members are kindly asked not to handle, clean, or operate any part of the piano, or use the technician’s tools, unless expressly permitted. ◾️Service limitations: We may decline or reschedule service if the piano is unsafe, unserviceable, or inaccessible. Once the service is complete, our technician will be happy to walk you through the work performed and answer any questions. 🔧 Pitch Raise (Additional $120) If your piano is too far out of tune, we may need to perform a Pitch Raise before standard tuning. This process ensures your piano stays in tune and is safe to tune properly. We will assess this on arrival and only proceed with your approval. 🧷 String Breakage Disclaimer While rare, string breakage can occur—especially in older or neglected pianos. Treble strings can often be replaced on the spot for $60. Bass strings are custom-made and require ordering (1–3 weeks). Temporary fixes may be possible with donor string (for a fee). We are not responsible for breakage unless due to technician negligence. 💳 Payment Terms Payment is due immediately after the service. A $20 late fee applies if payment isn’t made within 24 hours. An additional $10 is added every 5 calendar days the invoice remains unpaid. Invoices unpaid after 14 days may be referred to debt collection and legal action. ❌ Cancellations & No-Shows Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a $50 fee. If no one is present at the location, the full booking fee will be charged. Rebooking is only allowed after all fees are cleared.
